About The Position
We have a full-time opening for a Pediatrician in our Pittsfield office. Join a team of 4 established pediatricians and 3 Nurse Practitioners in a well-established FQHC. This hiring is due to growth and retirement. The practice is located in Pittsfield, MA, and is 100% outpatient. The work week is 40 hours, with 32 clinical hours and 8 hours of administrative time. The practice is open 5 and a half days a week, with hospitalists handling all inpatient duties. Office hours are 8:00 am - 6:00 pm, Monday-Friday. Providers not on call will see patients from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm or 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. On-call providers work from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, with the last patient booked at 5:30 pm. Providers rotate weekend call coverage, with Saturday hours from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. Call is shared equally, and all pediatric calls for the organization are routed to the on-call provider via a nurse triage service. Providers will see 15-20 patients per day. Athena EMR is used.
Requirements
- 1+ to 2 years experience
- Doctorate Degree
- Must be able to use Athena EMR
Responsibilities
- See 15-20 patients per day
- Rotate weekend call coverage (in office 8:30am-12:30pm Saturday only)
- Handle all pediatric calls for the organization via the nurse triage service when on call
