About The Position

The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting a Pediatrician to provide care at a vibrant community health center (FQHC) in Waterloo, Iowa. A community health center (FQHC) is the largest source of comprehensive primary care for underserved communities and populations. With an integrated care model that includes medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services, patients can access comprehensive, coordinated services often under one roof. The role involves seeing on average 12-18 patients per day. The provider team includes 1 pediatrician and 3 pediatric nurse practitioners. The Electronic Health Record (EHR) used is Ochin Epic.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school and completion of residency program
• Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics
• Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Iowa

• Provide care at a vibrant community health center (FQHC) in Waterloo, Iowa
• See on average 12-18 patients per day
