About The Position
Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a Pediatrician for a potential position at the Ft. Hood-Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center (CRDAMC) in Killeen, TX. CRDAMC operates 24/7 as a teaching facility. The Pediatrician will be involved in directing, performing, and/or assisting in the instruction of other healthcare professionals, consistent with their clinical privileges and responsibilities. The work schedule will span from 0530 to 2230, Sunday through Saturday, and may include various shifts such as days, evenings, nights, weekends, training holidays, and Federal holidays. The role also entails on-call responsibilities, with shifts ranging from 8, 10, 12, to 16 hours. Total working hours are not to exceed 40 hours per week or 80 hours in a two-week period, though shifts and hours are subject to change based on facility needs.
Requirements
- Active Texas State License
- Board Certified in Pediatrics
- Possess a minimum of 1 year of post residency clinical experience within the last 3 years providing direct patient care in pediatrics
- BLS & ACLS thru the American Heart Association
Responsibilities
- Direct, perform, and/or assist in the instruction of other health care professionals within the scope of the clinical privileges and responsibilities granted
- Perform On Call responsibilities
