Penobscot Pediatrics is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatrician to join our highly respected and well-established pediatric team in Bangor, Maine. Our providers include Board-Certified Pediatricians, Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and Physician Associates, and Pediatric Behavioral Health professionals offering a broad range of services including: Preventive and wellness care Newborn through adolescent medicine Early childhood developmental screenings Immunizations and vaccinations Chronic disease management Behavioral and mental health integration Nutrition counseling and patient education Sports, school, and camp physicals Pediatric dental services through PCHC Dental Center Speech therapy and audiology services through the Warren Center for Speech and Hearing Position Summary The Pediatrician provides high-quality primary care services for infants, children, and adolescents within an integrated healthcare environment. Responsibilities include diagnosis, treatment, preventive care, patient and family education, chronic disease management, and collaboration with multidisciplinary care teams to support the physical, developmental, and emotional health of pediatric patients. Providers work closely with nurses, behavioral health clinicians, social workers, therapists, specialists, and support staff to deliver coordinated, compassionate care that improves patient outcomes and family satisfaction.
