About The Position

We have exciting opportunities for Pediatricians with urgent care and/or emergency medicine experience to work in our Pediatric Urgent Care Centers. Pediatricians must be able to travel to ALL 3 PEDS centers. Locations include - Elwood, Hewlett, and Lake Success. We are seeking Pediatricians to join our welcoming and diverse community of Northwell providers. Requirements

• Board Certified in Pediatrics
• 1-2 yrs. of experience in either an urgent care or emergency room setting
• Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), reading EKGs and X-rays.
• Dual Licensure in NY & CT REQUIRED

Responsibilities

• Travel to all 3 PEDS centers (Elwood, Hewlett, and Lake Success).
• Perform minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.).
• Read EKGs and X-rays.
• Complete Northwell GoHealth Training and Competency on how to perform Plain films within 90 days of hire.
