About The Position
The Pediatrician provides medical care to pediatric patients, including conducting examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries, and establishing treatment plans. The role includes maintaining patient records, referring patients to specialists, communicating with patients and their parents or caregivers, and guiding patients and caregivers on illness and injury prevention and lifelong health practices. The position requires an M.D. or D.O., completion of a pediatrics or pediatric subspecialty residency or fellowship, American Board of Pediatricians certification or board-eligible status, and a license to practice medicine in the state of employment. Coldwater Regional Hospital offers acute and ambulatory care, an insurance company with a dental plan, and post-acute and academic business lines. The community is described as having lakes and woodlands, outdoor activities, access to several cities, affordable housing, schools, recreation facilities, and the historic Tibbets Opera House.
Requirements
- American Board of Pediatricians certification or board-eligible status.
- Residency or fellowship in pediatrics or a pediatric subspecialty.
- M.D. or D.O.
- License to practice medicine in the state of employment.
