About The Position

Brattleboro Primary Care–Pediatrics, part of the physician-owned Primary Care Health Partners group, is seeking a board-certified Pediatrician. The practice has been an NCQA-certified medical home since 2011 and provides care for children from birth through college, following AAP and Bright Futures recommendations for annual well-child and adolescent care. Services also include care coordination for children with chronic conditions and treatment of acute illnesses and minor injuries. The practice is located on the Brattleboro Memorial Hospital campus, which has a level 1 nursery, and is affiliated with Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, including participation in its outpatient pediatrics medical student rotation. This is a flexible, part-time position of two to three days per week, negotiable. Call coverage is shared by all office providers and includes after-hours phone coverage and a Saturday morning clinic. A nurse triage answering service handles patient calls after 6 p.m. on weekdays and after 4 p.m. on weekends. The role is in person in Brattleboro, Vermont, and requires relocation before starting. Compensation starts at $90 per hour, depending on experience. A relocation stipend and LLP partnership opportunities are available.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Provide pediatric care for patients from birth through college.
Provide annual well-child and adolescent care following AAP and Bright Futures recommendations.
Coordinate care for children with chronic conditions.
Treat acute illnesses and minor injuries.
Participate in shared call coverage, including after-hours phone coverage and a Saturday morning clinic.
