About The Position

This is an outpatient primary care pediatrician role in Los Angeles, CA. The position offers a Monday-Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no nights, weekends, or on-call duties. It is an approved NHSC scholar site, making it eligible for federal and state loan repayment programs, which is a significant financial benefit for residents and early-career pediatricians with training debt. The role is designed to support a healthy work-life balance with a manageable patient panel of 20-22 patients per day in a well-supported outpatient setting. Nose and tail malpractice coverage is included. The position is open to residents finishing their pediatrics residency in 2026 or 2027.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatrics residency, or Board Eligible, or Board Certified in Pediatrics.
• Active California medical license, or license eligible.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Residents completing pediatrics residency in 2026 or 2027 are eligible to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient primary care to pediatric patients.
• Manage a patient panel of 20-22 patients per day.
• Communicate directly with Spanish-speaking patients without an interpreter.
