Contract Pediatrician (MD, Remote - Arizona)
About The Position
We are seeking an Arizona-licensed Pediatrician to support the launch of behavioral health and medical services in Arizona. This independent contractor role will contribute to payer enrollment, credentialing, clinical readiness, and launch activities as operations are established in the state. The flexible, 1099 hourly consultant engagement is estimated at about one hour per week and is expected to be limited during the launch phase. Clinical service opportunities may become available in the future based on mutual interest and business needs, and involvement may expand as patient services launch in Arizona.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Arizona medical license.
- Board-certified Pediatrician.
- Active DEA registration.
- Ability to credential with commercial and government payers.
- Arizona state residency.

- Active Arizona Medicaid enrollment.
- Strong attention to detail and responsiveness during enrollment and credentialing activities.
Responsibilities
- Participate in commercial and Medicaid payer enrollment processes.
- Complete and maintain CAQH and credentialing documentation.
- Review and sign provider enrollment applications and related attestations.
- Participate in occasional meetings related to network expansion and market launch.
- Participate in one to two user research interviews to understand provider and patient attitudes toward care in Arizona.
- Help identify local key opinion leaders in the pediatric space and facilitate introductions where appropriate.
