About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated Pediatrician for a Locum Tenens position in Hesperia, CA. This role involves providing comprehensive outpatient pediatric care in a high-demand, socioeconomically challenged community clinic. The position is primarily clinical, with an average daily patient volume of 25, and operates on a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The clinic utilizes the Epic EMR system and is supported by a team of RNs, MAs, and office staff. This is an ongoing coverage opportunity, open to a Locum-to-PERM arrangement, and is ideal for supplemental staffing needs.
Requirements
- BC/BE
- CA License
- Active DEA
- BLS Certification
- EPIC proficiency

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric care to patients in a high-demand clinic.
- Manage an average of 25 patient encounters per day, adjusting for high no-show rates.
- Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with flexible lunch.
- Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient management.
- Collaborate with support staff including RNs, MAs, and office personnel to ensure efficient clinic operations.
