About The Position
Allied Physicians Group is seeking a Full-Time Pediatric Urgent Care Provider for APG Urgent Care - Franklin Square, serving families across Nassau County and the surrounding metro area. You'll deliver high-quality, compassionate care in a collaborative, child-focused environment while helping expand access to pediatric healthcare beyond traditional office hours. Requirements
- Active New York State Medical License
- Current DEA Registration
- PALS
- Excellent communication and patient-centered bedside manner
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Pediatrics, Pediatric Urgent Care, or Pediatric Emergency Medicine
- Comfortable managing acute illnesses and minor injuries independently
- Thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Genuine passion for delivering outstanding care to children and families
- Pediatric Urgent Care and/or Emergency Department experience preferred

Responsibilities
- Provide urgent and episodic care for pediatric patients, from infancy through young adulthood
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries in a pediatric urgent care setting
- Perform procedures including laceration repair, abscess drainage, and foreign body removal
- Deliver clear communication, education, and reassurance to patients and families
- Collaborate closely with providers, nursing staff, and operational teams to ensure an exceptional patient experience
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the athenaOne EMR
- Support innovative care delivery models, including telemedicine services
