Pediatric Surgical Suite - RN 2, Weekend, Nights
About The Position
This is a full-time position for a Registered Nurse (RN) in a family-oriented pediatric surgery center that serves both in-patients and out-patients. The role involves working in a fast-paced and challenging unit where RNs collaborate as a team in the variable settings of Preanesthesia, PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit), and Post-operative Discharge. The position requires flexibility with scheduling to meet unit needs. Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Full-time availability
- Willingness to work weekend nights (Fri/Sat/Sun) with 12-hour shifts
- Flexibility with scheduling to meet unit needs

Responsibilities
- Accountable for provision of competent direct patient care based on established standards.
- Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level.
- Supports peers in the delivery of patient care services.
- Assumes an expanded role which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.
- Demonstrates flexibility with scheduling to meet unit needs.
