About The Position
Wolfson Children's Hospital is hiring a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist at the Wolfson North outpatient rehab clinic near the Jacksonville International Airport. This is a PRN, day shift opportunity at Wolfson Children's Hospital. No weekend, holiday, or call rotation. We are looking to hire an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. This PRN position will work with a pediatric caseload at Wolfson Children's Hospital. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of recent experience in medically complex infant feeding.
Requirements
- 1 or more year(s) Speech/Language Experience Required
- Master of Science Or Master of Arts Required
- Licensed Speech Language Pathologist Required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required from the American Heart Association Required
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of recent experience in medically complex infant feeding
- Developmental Experience Strongly Preferred
- Voice Experience Preferred
- Neuro Experience Preferred
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, plan, direct, and administer treatment to patients of all diagnoses.
- Provide extensive patient/family education.
- Provide multidisciplinary team care with other rehab professionals, nurses, physicians, social service providers, respiratory therapists, support staff, etc.
- Participate in departmental operations and performance improvement activities.
- Responsible for remaining within budget guidelines.
- Participate in mandatory education and licensure requirements.
