About The Position

We currently have an opening for a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Salt Lake City, UT team. The registered professional nurse (RN) is accountable for the coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care. The RN supports professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family.

Requirements

RN licensure in UT
Basic Life Support (BLS)
COVID-19 Vaccination

Nice To Haves

PEAR, PALS, ACLS: obtain within 1 year of employment as required by hospital
Bachelor in Nursing
2 years experience in acute nursing

Responsibilities

Collects and analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis/issuesAssesses comprehensive data including but not limited to physical, psychosocial, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual needs and interprets assessment information to derive the diagnosis or issues as defined by the patient’s condition.
Identifies expected outcomes and develops a plan that prescribes strategies which address health promotion and restoration, health maintenance, or health related problems or issues and alternatives to attain expected outcomes
Implements the identified plan and coordinates care delivery
Employs strategies to promote health and a safe environmentUtilizes teaching strategies appropriate to the individual patient’s condition and learning needs.
Evaluates progress toward attainment of outcomes
