About The Position

Heartline Staffing is recruiting a Pediatric Residency Program Director & Director of Pediatrics for a full-time, on-site leadership position in Tampa, Florida. This outpatient role combines graduate medical education, pediatric department leadership, resident teaching, and direct clinical care while leading a fully ACGME-accredited pediatric residency in its first year. The position involves approximately 3 administrative and academic days with 2 clinical days per week, leading a department of approximately 16-17 providers and precepting residents. The role offers significant autonomy to shape the developing residency program, establish long-term culture, educational standards, and direction, and combines physician leadership, education, and patient care.

Requirements

Board Certified Pediatrician REQUIRED
Meaningful GME, Residency, Fellowship Or Academic Leadership Experience REQUIRED
Teaching And Scholarly Activity Or Publication Experience REQUIRED
Comfortable Balancing Physician Leadership With Outpatient Pediatric Care REQUIRED
