About The Position

Leidos is hiring Software Engineers and Software Developers to support the Intelligence Sector's Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA) on Leidos-led prime programs supporting the Intelligence Community in the Fort Meade, Maryland area. The opportunities span multiple experience levels, from early-career professionals to senior and principal engineers, and include a $25,000 sign-on bonus for Software Engineering positions. Engineers develop, modernize, integrate, and sustain mission-critical software solutions. Areas of opportunity include Java, Python, cloud engineering, artificial intelligence and machine learning, analytics, front-end, back-end, and full-stack development. Specific technologies, responsibilities, education, and experience requirements vary by program and position. Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree for certain opportunities. Positions are available in Columbia, Annapolis Junction, Laurel, and the greater Fort Meade, Maryland area. Work arrangements vary by program and position. Applicants must have an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field; additional relevant experience may substitute for a degree for certain opportunities.
At least 2 years of professional software engineering experience after completing a bachelor's degree.
Experience in one or more areas of software development, including Java, Python, cloud, AI/ML, analytics, front-end, back-end, or full-stack development.
Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
