About The Position

Affirmed Home Care is seeking a bilingual Registered Nurse (RN) to provide dedicated 1:1 pediatric nursing care for an 11-year-old Spanish-speaking client in Paramus, NJ. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN who enjoys building meaningful relationships with pediatric clients and families while providing hands-on, individualized nursing care in the home.

Requirements

• Current New Jersey RN License
• Proficiency with suctioning required
• Spanish-speaking/bilingual required
• Current BLS Certification
• Strong communication and clinical assessment skills
• Compassionate and dependable approach to pediatric care
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Physical examination completed within the past 12 months
• PPD or QuantiFERON completed within the past 12 months, or chest X-ray within the past 5 years
• Proof of flu vaccination or approved exemption

Nice To Haves

• 1 year pediatric experience (home care or acute care)
• Experience with nebulizer treatments preferred
• Valid driver's license preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate 1:1 pediatric nursing care
• Perform and assist with suctioning
• Provide prescribed nebulizer treatments
• Monitor the child's condition and recognize changes in status
• Follow the individualized plan of care
• Communicate clinical updates with the family and supervising clinical team
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation
• Promote the child's safety, comfort, and overall well-being
