About The Position
BrightStar Care of Lubbock is looking for a dependable RN to provide private duty nursing care for a pediatric patient during school hours in Littlefield. This is a consistent weekday assignment for an RN who is comfortable providing attentive care, monitoring changes in condition, and working closely with the patient’s family and care team.
Requirements
- Current, unrestricted Texas RN license
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Own device and reliable internet connection required to access your schedule and complete charting
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric, private duty, or home health experience preferred, but not required
- Respiratory care experience is a plus
- Willingness to learn portable defibrillator management
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care during school hours
- Administer medications as ordered
- Monitor respiratory status and changes in condition
- Monitor and manage the portable defibrillator
- Follow activity restrictions and safety measures
- Communicate with the family, school, and care team
- Complete required clinical documentation
