About The Position

The Stanford Department of Pediatrics is recruiting two Clinician Educators as a Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor within the Division of Pulmonary, Asthma and Sleep Medicine. This role involves providing expert clinical care, teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, and potentially engaging in research, quality improvement, and program development. The position is primarily located at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital in Palo Alto, CA, with potential for inpatient clinical care at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. The department is committed to advancing the health of children through innovative care, research, education, and advocacy, and is ranked among the top in the nation.

Requirements

  • MD/DO degree.
  • Board Certification in Pediatrics.
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine.
  • California Medical License by the time of hire.
  • Outstanding clinicians with dedication to teaching and mentoring trainees.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional experience in lung transplant.
  • Training in sleep medicine.
  • Board eligibility or certification in Lung Transplant.
  • Board eligibility or certification in Sleep Medicine.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert clinical care in Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine.
  • Teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • Engage in research activities.
