About The Position
Overnight Pediatric Private Duty Nurse (PDN) – RN/LPN – 1:1 Ratio. Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is hiring RNs and LPNs for 1:1 overnight pediatric private duty cases in Verona, Missouri. You'll work one-on-one with a child or young adult in their home, providing focused, skilled care. The role is ideal for nurses seeking meaningful, one-on-one patient interaction, flexible schedules, or rewarding part-time work. Cases vary in acuity and may involve trach, ventilator, or G-tube care.
Requirements
- Active RN or LPN license required
- Availability for overnight shifts required
- Eligible to work in the United States required
Nice To Haves
- Experience with complex pediatric needs is a plus
- Pediatric experience a plus (training provided)
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 skilled nursing care to a pediatric or young adult patient in their home
- Manage complex care needs, which may include trach/vent management, G-tube feeding, and related monitoring
- Build a real relationship with one family who will come to know and rely on you
