About The Position
Join a well-known and growing practice in Ottawa, Illinois, with an established patient panel. This is an innovative endeavor to redesign healthcare in a rural setting. The team consists of 10 physicians and 6 APP’s, including 2 Pediatricians and 1 Internal Medicine Physician. Embedded services such as Anticoagulation Clinic, Complex Care, Diabetic Educator, Nurse Visit Clinic, and Behavioral Health Services are available to assist in patient management for optimal outcomes. The clinic space is large, with 2-3 dedicated exam rooms per provider. There is an opportunity for newborn nursery rounding, allowing you to keep your nursery and inpatient skills sharp with minimal call. DAX Ambient AI assistance is provided for notetaking. The practice offers flexible scheduling to support work/life harmony within a mission-driven culture. It's a family-oriented team with a history of longevity. H1B and J1 visa applications are accepted. The EMR system used is EPIC.
Requirements
- Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state.
- Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
- Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies).
- Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
- Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
- Shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
