Seeking BE/BC Emergency Medicine Physician at Saint Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa & Peru, Illinois. 12-Hour shifts Generous staffing model Approximately 19,000 annual visits in Ottawa & 16,500 annual visits in Peru Community Hospitals with 24/7 CT scan, Xray and Sono available About OSF HealthCare & Saint Elizabeth Medical Center OSF HealthCare, an integrated health system owned and operated by The Sisters of the Third Order of St. Francis, Peoria, Illinois. The Saint Elizabeth staff provides state-of-the-art therapeutic, diagnostic, medical, surgical and support services in Ottawa, with additional staff providing care at OSF Center for Health in Streator, a robust outpatient facility that also features a freestanding emergency center. Requirements

  • Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state.
  • Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
  • Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies). Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
  • Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
  • Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
