Eastern Shawnee Staffing Services is seeking multiple Emergency Medicine Physicians (MD/DO) to support the Chinle Comprehensive Health Care Facility in Chinle, Arizona. Requirements

MD or DO from an accredited institution
Valid medical license from any U.S. state accepted
Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience
Experience treating both adult and pediatric patients
Current DEA registration
Active ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications
Strong clinical, diagnostic, and decision-making skills
Ability to work in high-stress, fast-paced environments
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
Must be a U.S. citizen residing primarily in the United States

Nice To Haves

Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine (preferred)
Prior locum tenens and/or IHS experience preferred

Responsibilities

Provide emergency medical care to patients with acute illness or injury
Perform examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and make timely diagnoses
Stabilize critically ill or injured patients using emergency procedures
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
Determine appropriate patient disposition (admit, discharge, transfer)
Follow all facility policies and regulatory requirements
Communicate effectively with patients and families
Participate in quality improvement initiatives
