About The Position

TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pediatric Physician to join a community-based primary care practice serving underserved patient populations in the Sacramento area. This is an outpatient pediatric primary care opportunity providing comprehensive care for patients from birth through adolescence. The role involves managing well-child visits, preventive care, acute and chronic disease management, and developmental/behavioral assessments. The physician will also educate patients and families, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. There is an opportunity to supervise Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners. The setting is a mission-driven community health center focused on serving underserved populations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience (Primary Care, Family Medicine)
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
  • Active California medical license or ability to obtain licensure
  • DEA certification required
  • Current CPR certification required
  • Experience caring for underserved populations preferred
  • Experience managing pediatric patients from birth through 19 years of age
  • Ability to supervise Advanced Practice Providers in pediatric care

  • Bilingual or multilingual skills preferred, including: Spanish, Russian, Farsi, Pashto/Pushto
