Esse Health is seeking an entrepreneurial-minded Pediatric physician who is actively practicing in the local community to join their team in 2026 or early 2027. The ideal candidate will have an established patient following and the ability to bring patients with them as they begin their new practice with Esse Health. Requirements

  • MD or DO
  • Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible with plans to certify (AB or AOA)
  • Missouri licensed or eligible to obtain licensure in Missouri
  • Actively practicing in the local community
  • Established patient following and the ability to bring patients with them

Responsibilities

  • Join a collaborative team of two Pediatric physician partners in your clinic, with additional Pediatricians and multi-disciplinary colleagues across the group.
  • Opportunity to gradually take over a physician’s panel, with mentorship and warm patient hand-offs as they transition toward retirement.
  • Outpatient practice with opportunity to do newborn rounding and flexibility to focus on clinical interests (ADHD, mental health, obesity, etc.).
  • Opportunity to mentor and teach medical students and residents if desired.
  • In-office procedures based on physician preference; precepting available for those interested in learning.
  • Gradual onboarding ramp-up to build confidence with the EMR, flow, and coding.
  • Telehealth available.
