About The Position
Geisinger is seeking a General Pediatrician to join its team in Pittston, Pennsylvania. This is a part-time position with 24/7 hospitalist coverage supported by a large call coverage group that has been stable for over 10 years. The position is new and intended to increase patient access. Teaching opportunities are available, and the electronic medical record used is EPIC. Pittston is located along the Susquehanna and Lackawanna rivers between Wilkes-Barre and Scranton. The area offers outdoor recreation, including kayaking, whitewater rafting, hiking, and extensive hiking and biking trails, as well as nearby state parks, ski areas, gaming, sports, arts, and colleges and universities. Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Licensed Medical Doctor in the State of Pennsylvania.
