About The Position
Sunshine S.P.O.T.S. (Speech. Physical. Occupational. Therapy.) is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist for their Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care Unit, which serves medically complex children. The practice offers Speech-Language, Physical, and Occupational Therapy, as well as Feeding Therapy and Early Intervention Services. They emphasize family-centered care and a collaborative team environment. Happiness is mandatory, and flexibility is highly valued. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, with W-2 and 1099 employment options.
Requirements
- One year of work experience in pediatrics for PT applicants.
- Proficiency in using digital fax, email, social media, Excel, Word, Adobe, and Google.
- Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy.
- Experience or at least one rotation in pediatrics.
- Preferably already licensed and approved through FL-DOH and FL-Medicaid.
Nice To Haves
- Liking children is pretty important too.
- Bi-Lingual is a plus, but not required.
- A positive attitude along with motivation to grow personally and professionally.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients using a variety of standardized and nonstandardized tests.
- Create a treatment plan.
- Provide therapeutic services in the natural environment.
