About The Position
We are seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our team at an Acute Hospital facility. This is a Magnet facility, Level II Trauma, and recognized as the Best Hospital in Alaska by USNWR. The role involves covering both inpatient and outpatient pediatric physical therapy services. The facility has 407 total staffed beds and offers free parking.
Requirements
- Valid Alaska PT License or Pending License.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist.
- Must have Pediatric and Acute Care Experience.
- Candidates must have a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility.
- First-time travelers accepted with 2 years of experience.
Nice To Haves
- Alaska has Compact PT license available.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services to pediatric patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Cover weekend shifts as required (1-2 per month).
- Float within scope to meet facility needs, covering both inpatient and outpatient pediatric PT.
- Utilize Epic for charting.
