About The Position

Blue Bird Day is seeking a dedicated and compassionate clinic-based Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) to join their multidisciplinary team. This role involves providing evidence-based, play-focused pediatric therapy to children ages 2-7 years old with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs. The therapist will foster each child's mobility, gross motor development, and functional independence growth through individualized and group therapy, implementing various therapeutic approaches, collaborating with other therapists and social workers, and documenting progress while communicating with families.

Requirements

• Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) license
• Experience with children ages 2-7 years old
• Experience with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs
• Knowledge of therapeutic approaches such as DIR/Floortime, Developmental Treatment, Motor Skills Acquisition, and Intentional Relationship Model (IRM)
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
• Strong documentation and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy to children ages 2-7 years old with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs.
• Foster each child's mobility, gross motor development, and functional independence growth.
• Provide individualized and group therapy.
• Implement therapeutic approaches such as DIR/Floortime, Developmental Treatment, Motor Skills Acquisition, and Intentional Relationship Model (IRM).
• Collaborate daily with occupational and speech therapists, as well as social workers.
• Document progress and communicate with families to support continuity of care.
