About The Position

Eyas Landing is seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) Department Lead to join their multidisciplinary team. This role involves providing evidence-based, play-focused pediatric therapy in a collaborative and innovative environment. The position offers the opportunity to provide physical therapy to children and families in the clinic, clients' schools, and homes, while also overseeing a team of Physical Therapists. The role focuses on working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs. The goal is to foster each child's mobility, gross motor development, and functional independence growth through individualized therapy, implementing therapeutic approaches, collaborating with other therapists and social workers, documenting progress, communicating with families, and providing mentorship and clinical guidance to the Physical Therapy team.

Requirements

  • Skilled and compassionate Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT)
  • Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs.
  • Proficiency in implementing therapeutic approaches such as DIR/Floortime, Developmental Treatment, Motor Skills Acquisition, and Intentional Relationship Model (IRM).
  • Ability to collaborate with occupational and speech therapists, and social workers.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Experience in mentorship, clinical guidance, and performance feedback.

Responsibilities

  • Provide physical therapy to children and families in the clinic, clients' schools, and homes.
  • Oversee a team of Physical Therapists.
  • Work with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs.
  • Foster each child's mobility, gross motor development, and functional independence growth.
  • Provide individualized therapy.
  • Implement therapeutic approaches such as DIR/Floortime, Developmental Treatment, Motor Skills Acquisition, and Intentional Relationship Model (IRM).
  • Collaborate daily with occupational and speech therapists, as well as social workers.
  • Document progress and communicate with families to support continuity of care.
  • Provide mentorship, clinical guidance, and performance feedback to Physical Therapists to ensure consistency in care delivery and growth.
