About The Position

Blue Bird Day is seeking a dedicated and compassionate clinic-based Pediatric Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join their multidisciplinary team. This role involves providing evidence-based, play-focused pediatric therapy to children ages 2-7 years old with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs. The PTA will foster each child's mobility, gross motor development, and functional independence growth through individualized and group therapy, implementing therapeutic approaches such as DIR/Floortime, Developmental Treatment, Motor Skills Acquisition, and Intentional Relationship Model (IRM). The role also includes daily collaboration with occupational and speech therapists, as well as social workers, and documenting progress while communicating with families to support continuity of care.

Requirements

• Active PTA license from Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
