About The Position
Wolfson Children’s Hospital is hiring a part-time Pediatric Occupational Therapist for its outpatient pediatric rehabilitation team at the Lake City Specialty Center in Lake City, Florida. The therapist will treat patients under age 18 with a varied caseload and support the hospital’s rehabilitation team. Candidates should have previous experience working with children, as well as neuro, orthopedic, and outpatient patient experience. The role includes evaluating and treating patients with developmental, neurological, orthopedic, and medical diagnoses, providing extensive patient and family education, and working with a multidisciplinary care team. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy.
- Licensed Physical Therapist from the Florida Department of Health, as stated in the posting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Previous experience working with children.
- Previous neuro, orthopedic, and outpatient patient experience.
