Pediatric Occupational Therapist
About The Position
Ivy Health is seeking an outpatient pediatric occupational therapist to provide care to children from birth through age 21. The role involves individualized, one-to-one treatment and customized plans of care. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to attend sessions so they can support the child’s skills and home exercises in daily life. Clinicians work with a multidisciplinary team and have access to mentorship while maintaining professional autonomy and opportunities for growth aligned with their interests and expertise. The team provides physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and applied behavior analysis services.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
- Current or pending licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the respective state.
- Dedication to exceptional patient outcomes and quality of care.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient occupational therapy to pediatric patients from birth through age 21.
- Deliver individualized, one-to-one attention and customized plans of care.
- Encourage parents and caregivers to participate in sessions and carry skills and home exercises into the child’s daily life.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teammates to support patient care and outcomes.
