Pediatric Occupational Therapist
About The Position
Ivy Health is seeking an outpatient pediatric occupational therapist to join its dedicated team in Virginia. The role works with children from birth through age 21, providing individualized, one-to-one care and customized plans. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to attend sessions so they can support the child’s skills and home exercises in daily life. The clinician collaborates with a multidisciplinary pediatric team while maintaining autonomy and opportunities for growth aligned with their clinical interests and expertise. Ivy Health provides occupational therapy alongside physical therapy, speech therapy, and applied behavior analysis services, with a focus on exceptional patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Current or pending licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the respective state.
- Dedication to exceptional patient outcomes and quality of care.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient occupational therapy to pediatric patients from birth through age 21.
- Deliver individualized, one-to-one care and develop customized plans of care.
- Encourage parents and caregivers to participate in sessions and carry skills and home exercises into the child’s daily life.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient care and outcomes.
