About The Position
Sentara Therapy Center Healthy Way PEDS is hiring an Occupational Therapist in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The role involves assessing, planning, organizing, and participating in rehabilitative programs that improve functional mobility, relieve pain, improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury, and help build or restore vocational and daily living skills and general independence. The position is on the first (day) shift. Applicants must have a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or higher and the listed certifications and license. The full-time annual base pay range is $95,825.60–$140,961.60. Compensation may also include shift differentials, on-call pay, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities, with the amount within the range depending on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Requirements
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or higher.
- NBCOT certification.
- BLS certification.
- Virginia Occupational Therapy license.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients for rehabilitative needs.
- Plan and organize rehabilitative programs.
- Participate in rehabilitative programs that improve functional mobility and relieve pain.
- Help improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury.
- Help build or restore vocational and daily living skills and general independence.
