About The Position
Towne Kids is seeking compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide one-on-one pediatric care in home and community settings throughout New Jersey. This full-time role offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients and families while providing skilled, personalized nursing care. The position involves providing skilled nursing care, monitoring patients, administering medications, communicating with the care team, maintaining documentation, and adhering to agency standards.
Requirements
- Active New Jersey LPN license
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Strong clinical, communication, and critical-thinking skills
- Perform occasional lifting and carrying of pediatric patients
- Occasional to moderate walking, standing, and sitting.
- Occasional bending, stooping, and gripping to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Daily driving, with distance varying according to assignment and needs.
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric or home care experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care according to each patient’s plan of care
- Monitor and document patient condition and vital signs
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Communicate changes in condition to the appropriate care team
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Follow applicable safety, infection prevention, privacy, and agency standards
