About The Position

BAYADA’s Upstate Skilled Office is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with a passion for homecare to join its Skilled Private Duty Nursing team. The role provides one-to-one care for a client in the client’s home, with a schedule chosen to support the nurse’s preferences and matched to a client nearby. The office provides onboarding and training beginning on the first day, including paid virtual and hands-on orientation, and holds nurse appreciation events throughout the year.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
A current nursing license in good standing in the state.

Responsibilities

Travel to one nearby client’s home according to a mutually selected schedule.
Follow up on, carry out, and properly document doctors’ orders.
Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
