About The Position
NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for its Pediatric Neurology/Orthopedic ICU. This full-time position is based in the PICU and works rotating shifts. The role provides an opportunity to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and contribute to evidence-based care focused on respect, quality, safety, patient and staff satisfaction, and value. The hospital describes its nursing environment as one of shared clinical decision-making, supportive colleagues, inspirational leadership, and flexible scheduling. On-site presence is required, and employees must live within a commutable distance of NYP. NYP does not reimburse travel expenses.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in the specialty of practice.
- Current New York State license as a Nurse Practitioner in the area of practice.
- Board certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
- BCLS certification.
- PALS certification.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of critical or acute care Nurse Practitioner experience.
- At least three years of Pediatric Critical Care experience as a registered nurse.
