About The Position

Pediatric Associates is seeking a full-time Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our practices in Jacksonville, Florida. This role offers the opportunity to build a path to your future with the largest pediatric practice in the nation. The position involves supporting multiple practices including St Augustine, Town Center, Bartram Park, Orange Park, and Lakewood. The schedule is flexible, with an opportunity for a 3-day weekend and no weekends required. The work hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. Requirements

  • Successful completion of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program.
  • Physician Assistants must have passed the NCCPA certification exam.
  • Nurse Practitioners graduating after July 1, 2006, must be board certified.
  • Nurse Practitioners must be certified by the ANCC or PNCB.
  • Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida.
  • Current, Unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida.
  • Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

  • Float between practices including St Augustine, Town Center, Bartram Park, Orange Park, and Lakewood.
  • Round on newborns (not required).
