About The Position
Valley Children’s Healthcare is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Pediatric Neurosurgeon to join their mission-driven team. This is an opportunity to practice high-acuity, high-volume pediatric neurosurgery in the only free-standing children’s hospital in Central California, serving a diverse referral region of over 1.3 million children. The role offers the chance to make a profound impact on an underserved and growing population.
Requirements
- MD or DO
- Completion of accredited Neurosurgery Residency
- Completion of Pediatric Neurosurgery Fellowship
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery
- Eligible for medical licensure in California
Responsibilities
- Practice high-acuity, high-volume pediatric neurosurgery.
- Develop and expand subspecialty interests such as epilepsy surgery, craniofacial, complex spine, spasticity, neuro-oncology, and peripheral nerve.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary support teams.
- Engage in teaching opportunities with academic affiliations.
- Shape and grow the pediatric neurosurgery program.
