About The Position

Mayo Clinic’s Department of Neurosurgery is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Neurosurgeon with fellowship training in complex spine. This individual will join the Department of Neurosurgery in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, an academic tertiary care program. The ideal candidate has expertise in minimally invasive spine surgery, complex spinal reconstruction, and spinal cord tumors. Candidates must have strong clinical skills and a demonstrated track record of academic success in research and medical education. They must also demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team of consultants and support staff. Neurosurgery faculty are actively engaged in the education of medical students, residents, and headache medicine fellows. The environment provides rich opportunities for clinical and translational research, enhanced by established collaborations across Mayo Clinic sites. The position requires an individual who can bring enthusiasm and fresh ideas to the clinical practice and research team. With the nation’s largest neurosurgical clinical volumes, collaborative clinical and research opportunities are available and encouraged across all Mayo sites (Arizona, Minnesota, Florida, and the Mayo Health System).

Requirements
