About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens position for a Neurosurgeon in Eureka, CA. The role involves providing comprehensive neurosurgical care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The physician will perform spinal surgeries with and without instrumentation, manage trauma and emergency neurosurgical cases, and participate in weekday night call and 24-hour weekend call coverage. The position requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 3-5 years) in Neurosurgery
- Licensed in CA
- DEA required
- FLURO certification
- Minimum 2 years of current hospital clinical activity in Neurosurgery
- 100 cases in past 24 months
- General Neurosurgery procedures
- Spinal surgery with & w/o instrumentation

Responsibilities
