About The Position

The Stanford Department of Pediatrics is seeking board-certified/eligible pediatricians with strong clinical skills in the hospital care of sick newborns and a special interest in neonatal medicine to join the Division of Neonatal and Developmental Medicine. This role involves in-house neonatal coverage in various capacities and locations within the institution, including Lucile Packard Children's Hospital in Palo Alto, Sequoia Hospital in Redwood City, and El Camino Hospital in Mountain View. Clinical responsibilities may span Delivery Room, Well Newborn Nursery, Level II Intermediate Care Nursery, and/or a Level III NICU. Additionally, there are opportunities for academic and professional development, including resident and medical student education, and participation in clinical and quality improvement initiatives related to newborn care. The department is committed to advancing infant, child, and adolescent health through care, research, education, training, and advocacy, and is recognized as a leading institution in pediatric medicine.

Responsibilities
