Pediatric Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
About The Position
Affirmed Home Care is seeking experienced Per Diem Pediatric Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our high-quality clinical team throughout Fairfield County. If you have a passion for pediatric nursing and enjoy building meaningful, long-term relationships with your patients, this role is for you. As an Affirmed Pediatric LPN, you’ll provide one-on-one skilled nursing care to pediatric clients with complex medical needs in the comfort of their homes. Our cases allow you to focus fully on your patient—without the chaos of a facility setting. We are especially interested in nurses with experience caring for medically fragile children. Shifts vary from 6–12 hours, offering consistency, flexibility, and the opportunity to truly make an impact.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent pediatric nursing experience (acute care, PICU, NICU, or home care strongly preferred)
- Comfort caring for medically complex pediatric patients
- Willingness to support geriatric cases as needed
- Active Connecticut LPN license
- Current BLS certification
- Eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Valid driver’s license
- Physical exam within the past 12 months
- PPD or QuantiFERON within 1 year, or chest X-ray within 5 years
