About The Position
Affirmed Home Care is seeking experienced Pediatric Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for one-on-one care of pediatric patients in New Hartford, CT, and surrounding towns. This role offers flexible, consistent per diem work in a supportive home care setting. Experience with tracheostomy and ventilator care is strongly preferred. Cases are available with daytime and overnight shifts ranging from 6-12 hours, allowing for a personalized schedule.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of pediatric LPN experience
- Active Connecticut LPN license
- Current BLS certification
- Comfortable with hands-on pediatric care
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Current medical compliance (physical, PPD/QuantiFERON or chest X-ray)
Nice To Haves
- Experience with tracheostomy and ventilator care
- Pediatric experience preferred for BLS certification
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one care for pediatric patients.
- Administer care in a home setting.
