About The Position
Affirmed Home Care is seeking compassionate and experienced per diem Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide one-on-one private duty nursing care for pediatric clients in Newark and the surrounding communities. We have multiple cases available and offer flexible scheduling with day, evening, and overnight shifts.
Requirements
- Active New Jersey Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Current BLS Certification
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Physical examination completed within the past 12 months
- PPD or QuantiFERON test within the past year (or chest X-ray within the past 5 years if applicable)
- Proof of MMR immunization
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric nursing experience preferred (home care or facility setting)
- Valid driver's license preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled, compassionate 1:1 nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes
- Monitor, assess, and document changes in the patient's condition
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician
- Collaborate with families and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure the highest quality of care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Follow infection control protocols and ensure a safe home care environment
