About The Position

Aveanna Healthcare is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse for its Pediatric Day Health Care Center in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The nurse provides care to medically fragile children in a bright, family-like setting. New graduates are welcome, and pediatric nursing experience is preferred but not required; training is provided. Full-time and part-time schedules are available, with 12-hour shifts and no nights, weekends, or holidays.

Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania LPN license.
• CPR certification; it may be obtained during orientation.
• Clear criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

• Pediatric nursing experience; this is preferred but not required, and training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to pediatric patients.
• Safely administer medications, treatments, and therapies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor and document patient progress, and promptly report changes to the RN or physician.
• Provide education and emotional support to families and caregivers.
