Pediatric Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
About The Position
Affirmed Home Care is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and experienced Pediatric Licensed Practical Nurse to provide dedicated one-on-one nursing care for a 6-year-old female client in Wilton, Connecticut. The role offers the opportunity to provide personalized care and build meaningful relationships with the patient and family in a home environment, with support from an experienced clinical team. The position is per diem and offers 12-hour day or overnight shifts, with weekday and weekend opportunities and flexible scheduling. The role is part of Affirmed Home Care’s growing Pediatric Division serving children and families throughout Fairfield County, Connecticut.
Requirements
- Active Connecticut Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Previous tracheostomy (trach) and NG tube experience.
- At least 1 year of recent pediatric nursing experience in an acute care or home care setting.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Physical completed within the last 12 months.
- Current TB screening (PPD or QuantiFERON within one year) or chest X-ray, if applicable.
Nice To Haves
- Valid driver's license preferred.
Responsibilities
