About The Position

The Division of Hospital Medicine at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta consists of board-certified pediatricians who are available to care for our pediatric patients during their hospitalization. Our hospitalists staff the inpatient units 24 hours a day, seven days a week, at Arthur M. Blank Hospital and Scottish Rite Hospital. Our hospitalists work as a diagnostic team, offering years of combined experience in treating children with the most complex general pediatric illnesses and injuries. We work collaboratively with specialists from every medical and surgical discipline, as well as highly trained nurses, therapists, technicians and ancillary personnel. In addition to serving as the primary service for hospitalized children, our hospitalists provide consultations and second opinions on difficult cases. Our team ensures that children, especially those with challenging diagnoses, get the care they need and deserve.

Requirements

  • MD, DO or MD/PhD
  • Graduate of an accredited, post-graduate residency program in Pediatrics or Med-Peds.
  • Board Certified/ Board Eligible in Pediatrics
  • Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Georgia.
  • BLS or PALS certification required.
  • Current DEA registration.

Nice To Haves

  • Board Certification in Pediatric Hospital Medicine a plus but not required
