About The Position
Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is hiring an LPN or RN to provide one-patient-at-a-time pediatric home care for a 12-year-old male. The client enjoys outdoor walks, having books read to him, listening to music, and receiving help with physical and occupational therapy. The position is for weekend day shifts, 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities are available. Clinical training is provided.
Requirements
- Current, unencumbered RN or LPN license in the state of practice.
- Strong critical-thinking and communication skills.
- Dependable follow-through.
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric or home-care experience is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide home care to a 12-year-old male patient.
- Take the patient for walks, read books to him, and listen to music with him.
- Help the patient with physical and occupational therapy.
